Rendered: 2022 Subaru BRZ

If you’ve ever delved into the world of 3D modeling and rendering, you’d be familiar with not only the costs of the software necessary, but also the difficulty of creating a 3D model. For this, we give thanks to Ted Li, known on Instagram as @flathat3d, who, as he says in his bio, builds cars in 3D.

For the release of the 2022 Subaru BRZ, @flathat3d jumped right into things and rendered the Subaru BRZ 3D model, so people like @the_kyza, @bradbuilds, and @jonsibal had a platform for which they could create their masterpieces. So, without further ado, we present to you our favorite renderings of the new 2022 Subaru BRZ.

We begin with the creator of the original platform himself, Ted Li. To start, holy NSX! The rear-lights on this 2022 Subaru BRZ resemble the NSX with its lightbar connecting the two tail-lights, and it definitely works! The ducktail spoiler, rear window spoiler, and rear diffuser with a dual exhaust give the BRZ a sense of getting down to business.

You can also never go wrong with some bags and TE37s. Overall, this ride is one we’d love to see come to fruition, so if anyone gets their hands on a new BRZ, take this route!

@the_kyza

Probably the most prominent automotive renderer on social media would be @The_Kyza, creating several cars that have actually been taken from 3D render to reality. It was no doubt that he’d jump on this project as soon as the 2022 Subaru BRZ was released, and he did not let us down.

To start, he left the BRZ in its original, and very welcomed, World Rally Blue color, of which was complimented with Gold BBS wheels. If the 2022 Subaru BRZ is to have an STI counterpart, this build is definitely what it should look like. @The_Kyza added in a wide body kit that looks like it could have come from the factory, adding a bit more of a boxy look to the car. He also added in a classically shaped rear wing, and uh, a hood scoop for the naturally aspirated four-cylinder?

No complaints from us though, @the_kyza knows as well as we do that there should be a top-mount intercooler located right there, with a twin-school turbo ready to suck up some air.

@jonsibal

Another name that never lets us down is @jonsibal, bodykit designer, livery designer, and 3D concept maker. There’s a certain subtlety to his work, even though none of his builds are subtle. They just flow incredibly well, almost as if they came from the factory looking this way. His 2022 Subaru BRZ concept is no exception. @Jonsibal threw on a wide body kit with no other than Meister S1 wheels. In the rear we can see a GT Wing was slapped on, but we’re still waiting for him to release a picture of the rear.

@bradbuilds

From the wise words of @bradbuilds, “TE37 the WORLD!” We aren’t even mad about this statement, especially because he made such a great example of why this should be a thing.

This little red 2022 Subaru BRZ got the full treatment, including aerodynamic upgrades, like the Diablo GTR Wing on the back. A lot of criticism has been aimed at the rear of the car, but with a little touch of ducktail, and in this case, a huge wing, the back actually looks great. If you’re into slamming cars and throwing on extreme aero kits, this may just be what your next 2022 Subaru BRZ should be based off of!
